Formerly of Sheffield Mills, King County, Nova Scotia and Gore Bay, passed away Saturday, January 21, 1995 at her residence. Born in Meldrum Bay, daughter of the late Charles and Barbara (Campbell) Burns. Beloved mother of Barbara and Erick Jackson of Sheffield Mills, N.S. Loving grandmother of Christopher and Nicholas; dear sister of Lillian Best of Gore Bay and Myrtle Buchan of Sault Ste. Marie. Predeceased by her husband Joseph, 2 sisters and 1 brother. Cremation took place in Nova Scotia. The funeral service will be conducted at the Turner Funeral Home on Thursday at 2 pm with Father Richard MacDonald officiating. Interment of ashes in Gordon Cemetery. In Remembrance donations to The Cancer Society would be appreciated. Arrangements by Turner Funeral Home, Gore Bay.
