Humbly sheweth that your petitioner is the daughter of Adam Hartle of the township of Cornwall yeoman a UE Loyalist aged fifty five years of age that she has arrived to the age of 27 years and has never received any land.
Michael Hartle of the township of Cornwall yeoman maketh oath that Jane Hartle is the person the herein describes herself to be has arrived the age of 27 years and to the best of his knowledge and belief she has never received any land.

That your Petitioner has never received any land as the daughter of said UE Loyalist. That the names and ages of your Petitioners Brothers and Sisters are as follows: John Hartle 61, Adam Hartle 49, Christ John Hartle 45, David Hartle 39, Michael Hartle 33, Elizabeth Hartle 59, Catherine Hartle 57, Hannah Hartle 53 and Eleanor Hartle 42.
Michael Hartle of the Township of Cornwall yeoman mketh oath and saith that he was present and did see Jane Hartle daughter of the late Adam Hartle sign the foregoing Petition.
Jane Hartle personally appeared before the adjourned Session this day and was recognized by the magistrates as the daughter of the late Adam Hartle an UE Loyalist who retained his loyalty during the late war and that he died in the year 1848 being then upwards of eighty years of age and that Jane Hartle the petitioner is now thirty six years of age.
