     Michael Cline UEL was born in 1744 at Germany.2,3 He married Catherine Dorothea Vick on 28 April 1767 at Palatine, Montgomery, New York, America.2,4 Michael Cline UEL died on 1 August 1842 at Cornwall, Stormont, Ontario, Canada.
     He Michael Cline left Germany in 1764 and arrived in America in 1765. in 1764 at Germany.1 He was a gunsmith and a blacksmith in 1765 at New York, America. He was described as was 5 foot 2 inches tall in 1781. He began military service on 25 October 1781 Michael joined the 2nd batallion of the Kings Royal Rangers of New York.5 He ended military service on 6 June 1784 at Canada.6 The following appears on p203 of American Migrations:
Cline, Michael of Johnson's Patent, Tryon Co. Evidence Montreal February 1788. He is a native of Germany who came to America in 1765. He was forced to work for the rebels because his age prevented him from leaving NY until 1781 when he came to Canada. He was on duty in the 2nd Battalion of Sir Johnson's Rgt. in 1783 as an armourer. Claim for a house and one acre; a blacksmith's shop (12/31/268-269, 64/261, 109/116).

It must be noted that this entry immediately follows and entry for a John Cline of German Flats, Tryon NY deceased.7 He immigrated in 1796 to Canada.8
