     Isabel Campbell was born on 25 May 1837 at Halkirk Parish, Caithness, Scotland, daughter of Donald Campbell and Isabella Campbell. Isabel Campbell was baptized on 1 June 1837 at Lieurary, Halkirk Parish, Caithness, Scotland.2,3 She died between 2 June 1837 and 1841 at Scotland.4

    The record of her birth and baptism in 1837 seems clear. She does not appear in the 1841 immigration information in Canada with the rest of the family. In 1845 her name was re-used for child Isabella. It would appear she died young either in Scotland or on the way to Canada.
