Campbell was baptized on 14 May 1835 at Lieurary, Halkirk Parish, Caithness, Scotland.10,11 He married Maria Mckay, daughter of John Mckay and Mary Anne Martin, on 12 April 1866 at Walkerton, Bruce, Ontario, Canada.12,13,14 Thomas C. Campbell died on 23 July 1914 at Saskatchewan, Canada.12 He was buried circa 27 July 1914 at Langham, RM441, Saskatchewan, Canada.12,15
     He was found on a passenger list in 1841 at Ontario, Canada.16 He was Proprietor of Campbells Tavern on 1 January 1858 at Campbells Corner, Bentinck, Grey, Ontario, Canada.17 He was charged with horse stealing circa 1 July 1859 at Brant, Ontario, Canada.18

    Campbells Corner Womans Institute
    During the late 50's a family by the name of Campbell took up land at the corner on the Durham Road east of Hanover. In this family were four brothers Colin, Tom, George, and Bob. Associated with them were Bill McMahon, Charles McFarlane, Bill, Sam, Joe and Jack Bailey. On the southeast corner they built a tavern and called it the Campbell Tavern.
