He I had a friend going to Holland on a visit (who) found a 31 page lawsuit written in a mixture of old German and Latin filed by Jan De Witt against his brother-in-law Pieter Jansen Van Hoorn (Faelde's husband) for rent owing many years on property Tjerck inherited from Nicolaes (Claes).

There seemed to have been a boat-building facility there. Lester (De Witt Mallory) had it translated by a German Lawyer friend.

Lester obtained the De Witt biography dating back to 1293 from the Royal Library at the Hague... It doesn't connect to our line, though it has been demonstrated they belong to the Dordrecht De Witts."
